I have tried a few different lights, but I like these the best.. My front wheel has an expensive 4 spoke "professional" display on it. But it's an electric bike and the motor is in the back wheel so I can't put the fancy lights on it..
This unit is the best $10 lights I have ever seen.. I would definitely buy them again, or recommend to family/friends.

The lights work well, but are VERY sensitive and go off at the slightest movement. I had installed the batteries and set them down on my kitchen table. For the next couple of days any time I set anything else down on the table they lit up and began flashing. I ended up removing the batteries until I was ready to use them. The batteries were drained within a couple of days (day and night riding). I ended up replacing the batteries and removing the spoke lights in the daytime and installing them at night. There is no on/off switch.

This light is very cool, I got them for my kids for Christmas and they love them. The light automatically turns on with movement and has an automatic shut off that turns it off after inactivity. To really see patterns, you need to be going a bit faster, but it lights up even if you ride slowly.
