I did not get the germination rate I was hoping for, many bear spots and not as many went to flower as I had hoped. I planted as a cover to help feed my bees for the fall.

Use great caution in opening this package! The seeds are provided in a seemingly convenient zip-top bag, like pre-washed spinach or almonds. Initially, one is instructed to tear off the strip of plastic at the top, to release the edges of the zipper.

When I did this, one pull on the end of the "tear-off strip" tore down the entire length of the bag, spilling 10 lbs of seeds all over. Much has gone to waste. I suggest using scissors, and transfer to another container.

As to the quality of the seed, this is yet to be known. Perhaps an update in a few months.
