Great replacement for Craftsman Pressure Washer

Carb worked fine on my craftsman pressure washer. the only problems were that the bolt holes had some casting debris that cleaned up fine by drilling them out, and the choke arm is a universal part that I had to take the original off of the old carb and install on the new one. That was to be expected as this is a universal fit replacement. Other than the minor problems it worked as good as the Briggs Carb AND more than half the price!

Had problems with old carb pouring gas out on ground (on Pressure Washer). After not messing with it for 2 years decided it was time to fix. Found the model number on the engine, and searched for carb. This model cross referenced and came with multiple gaskets. Installed, added gas to tank, changed oil, pulled starter cord twice and engine fired to life. Have used pressure washer twice since replacing carb and runs better than when was new. For the price, this was a excellent purchase!!

A Perfect fit and a great price. After disassembling the old carburetor (the mower had been in storage for five years) I discovered it was filled with water, dirt, and corrosion . I quickly decided an overhaul was impossible, however the old carburetor had no markings so I had to depend on Amazon's listing for the Briggs & Stratton engine model number. The new carb actually arrived earlier than expected (thanks HOOAI), but more importantly it was a perfect fit. Installation was easy and the mower fired on the second pull. I'm keeping the old carb as a reminder that it makes more sense now to replace a component given Amazon's accurate product descriptions and speedy delivery than attempting a messy overhaul.
Eliminates pump bulb carburetors that are garbage

This is a follow up review after I installed carburetor on a Briggs Quantum 6.0 HP L head engine, replacing the pump bulb choke less one that has been nothing but trouble (biggest piece of junk Briggs ever came out with). Installation was simple and fast, 10 min. You do have to replace the carb to intake gasket with the flat gasket that these engines had, as O ring will not work. I reused my old one as it was in good shape. Fired up second pull and once choke was set to "off" position ran like clock after letting engine warm up about a minute. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of the pump bulb carb for good.
