Pretty much as advertised, the compartments Velcro in so in effect makes it modular but on the other hand not quite as stiff as I would have liked. Still, for groceries and flotsam in my car its works nicely.

This thing is amazing. I needed some sort of organization for the trunk of my car and this works great. It's not too expensive and it holds a lot. It fits very well in the back of my Kia Optima and it takes up about 1/4 of the trunk space so it's perfect for what I needed it for. It's super easy to put together, the interior dividers are attached by velcro and it's sturdy and easy to carry if you need to move it around.

This organizer works very well. I have an SUV so tossing grocery bags in the back usually meant stuff falling out, rolling toward the back door, and I had to be careful opening the back door (which swings out, not down). This organizer stoped that. Keeps everything together and contained. The velcro on the bottom is just what is needed to keep the organizer from shifting. Being fold up/down is very helpful. I can just collapse it if needed for loading larger items. I give it 4 stars because the canvas is rather thin. The "spacer" added in is hardly worth the bother as it is nothing more than a cloth. I can't imagine trying to carry this organizer full of stuff-too flimsy for that. Would love to se this in a higher quality canvas material. But overall, very useful product. For just holding groceries and stuff for transport, it is perfect.

Needed something to keep small purchases and other little items from rolling around the trunk of my subcompact hatchback. Bought this as a better-looking alternative to a brown cardboard box, but it has other advantages: dark color blends with car's interior so it's not as noticeable through the hatchback window, divider lets me segregate items, handles are a plus. Compact size allows room in my small trunk for other bulky items. Lightweight, but sturdy enough for my purposes. 30 seconds to unfold into shape.
