I could have easily gone to A craft store and bought this

We just opened this for Christmas and the hinges didn't even stay together. It is the crappiest packaging I've ever seen. Poorly put together. My daughter loves art so she isn't complaining about the box but come on! $40 and the box can't stay together?! I could have easily gone to A craft store and bought this. Lesson learned.

Very nice packaging, lovely box. Pretty poor quality materials- they're about equivalent to restaurant crayons. Going to swap it for crayons materials.

Giving it a 2 star for the mess i had to deal with, with the crayons..not sure if it was the seller, or amazons pretty slack packing job. As a result some crayons are broken. Everything else was in place. I found it wierd the crayons that did stay in place..some were facing up and others were down. Some scuffs on the edges of the box too. For the price we paid , I wouldn't necessarily jump to recommend anyone get this..if it goes on sale , it seems like a budding artist might like it. I got it for my 8 year old..and im starting to think she wont like it. A serious artist would want something else. It is pretty cheap as far as materials. We may be returning it. Found something way better for half the price.
