Thanks to this product I was able to mount 4 pair of skis in a very small closet that's just 13" wide and about 14" deep. I mounted these buttons two each on opposing walls, 6" away from each other on respective walls, and 3" staggered on opposite walls. In between them, I could hand ski poles on additional screws. I cannot think of any other product that would allow me to cram all this into such a small space. My only gripe is the somewhat high price. I'd be happy to have a button fewer and pay $5-7 less.

My wife and I have 5 pairs of downhill skis that have been leaning in a corner of our garage which made it difficult to access them and it was damaging the skis. So, I wanted to get a rack to safely store them in our garage without scratching them and making it easier to access the skis we want. I checked other racks that hung the skis by the tips and I was concerned that it would flatten the rocker of the ski, so I bought these buttons to hang them from the binding. It was perfect for us since the package included 5 buttons; 1 for each of our skis.

Positives:
- Your skis look really cool because they're all lined up on the wall with colorful topsheets facing you. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them since I installed this rack.
- Hanging the skis from the binding protects the rocker from flattening out.
- It's easy to remove your skis from the buttons. Unlike other racks, you don't need to remove 1 or 2 pairs of skis to access the skis you want.

Negatives:
- The buttons are made of plastic so I had trouble understanding why this costs as much as it does. Seems like it should cost $15-$20.
- It's not the most efficient use of space since the skis are mounted vertically, side-by-side.
- Keep in mind that the package only includes the buttons and hardware, so you'll need to cut a 2X4, mount it to the wall and then mount the buttons onto the 2X4. I think the price would be justified if it arrived with the buttons already attached to a board that you simply mounted to the wall.
- When the skis are racked, you need to be careful not to bump them left or right as the binding can roll off of the button and fall or bump into your other skis on the rack and cause them to roll of the button. This is drawback with the button design versus a rack that vertically hangs the ski by the tips or a horizontal wall rack. It would help if the button had a lip on each side (as opposed to being perfectly round) that would prevent this from happening.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend this racking system to other skiers. I would've given it 5 stars if it came preassembled and ready to be wall-mounted since it would've saved me a couple hours of gathering the appropriate tools and materials.

A little high priced

Very effective for what it is. Keeps long term stress off the camber of the ski. They stay on better than I expected. I brushed up against them and the ski just rotated a little but stayed on. I was unsure about that part with young Bumpy McClumsy kids. I like that you can grab a pair and go with effective space savings. I was also surprised with the design angling the tail/ heel piece back toward the wall. This kind of helps in keep them out f knee height. Other than the price for some molded plastic and screws I got no gripes, but hey that's the price for a good design I guess.
