i'm pretty new to tattooing and i have small hands, my old gun pooped out on me (thankfully at the end of a tattoo) and i was looking and this one and OH MY GOD this machine is amazing it's quieter and easy to hold and honestly it didn't hurt as bad as my old gun, MY BABY HANDS CAN ACTUALLY HOLD THIS COMFORTABLY i will definitely be purchasing more, i was able to get really crisp lines and everything i love it

one person wrote about the needle coming out while using this machine, i had that happen to me also but realized one final tough twist of the needle cartridge locked it in place. its different than a standard tattoo machine and i think will take me some time to get used to but over all i like it.

I've recently transferred from th coil gun to this! Overall I am VERY happy I made the switch!! Absolutely no offense to the Coil, lol can't forget your roots!! But as far as "upgrading", the rotary for me is FAR easier to use.
Not only does it feel like I'm simply using a pen, its lighter than the coil which for me allows for more control when I get those clients that thought they could take the pain!
Lol overall it is EXACTLY as described, I got the Gold and I am LOVING it!! Not only will I Recommend this product to my fellow artists, I'm getting at least 2 more as back up and may gift some out depending on their longevity! Hope this helps!

since i'm just a beginner, i briefly considered buying a less expensive machine but this one had far better reviews than the cheaper machines so i thought i'd spend a little extry...
i was not disappointed!
i've been practicing with coil machines for some months now and i've gotta say that even though this machine is hardly a high-dollar pen, i don't see myself going back to coils anytime soon.
despite what some reviews say, it ran smooth as butter with no jitters, never overheated, fairly quiet and hardly vibrated!
the only complaint that i can think of would be the fact that the power jack is a standard dc-style plug and not an rca like a lot of pen rotaries. not such a big deal aside from it not being as easy-to-access as an rca power cord (i can't just borrow one from a friend if the cable goes out). but given the price point and all of its other pluses, it stays at 5-stars!
i am DEFINITELY buying another one! i have a feeling i'll be using this machine quite a bit and will need a spare!

if i could give this machine more stars, i would! i can't give this machine enough praise. maiden voyage was a complete success. hits hard enough to pull nice lines. puts color in nicely. never jittered, never hiccuped. held needle depth perfectly. i will ABSOLUTELY be ordering a second machine! even if/when i upgrade to a higher-dollar machine, these will DEFINITELY stay in the arsenal!
