These gloves are great for a ton of different uses. I have used them for cleaning sewer lines, prepping food, working on cars, etc. heavy duty enough to last but light enough where you still have use of your hands.

First of all, we use gloves for all sorts of purposes in our household. Primarily they are used for cleaning and finger painting. For cleaning, these are excellent thanks to the little nubbins on them that assist with gripping. I haven't used these for cooking yet, but would also be satisfied with them for handling raw meat, etc. For finger painting (yes, wall art painting) the nubbins add a texture that is not desirable under most circumstances, so no for that purpose as uncommon as it may be. I chose the XL size which are too big for my slightly larger than average hands (ring finger size 8) but are tight but not uncomfortable on my husband's hands (ring size 13-14). And while I was skeptical about my hands becoming less sweaty, that ended up being actually true after cleaning three bathrooms with these on. I am not sure how much of that was because these are larger on me than some of the others, but I remember pulling off my gloves and not having pruney fingers and feeling especially dry which has never happened for me with gloves while cleaning.
