Great Speaker. I bought it for a college event. It provided a great sound. Only thing I'll say is, buy 2. Buying 2 will provide an even better experience & sound. I have been in the music and entertainment business for a long time. I have used all high end brand components and do have my go to speakers, but I needed a pair to deal with the smaller venues that could take a beating and I would not be upset about it. To my surprise, these speakers have gone well above expectations! They really are a karaoke speaker, based on response and tone, but they can handle some heavy use throughout the night. If you adjust the eq properly, you can get a good low response and if you match these with a small sub they can really cause a party to jump off! If you are looking for something that is professional and for a normal kick around system, I strongly recommend this set up!

I bought this to use for gigs and parties as a DJ. I purchased this particular speaker because it seemed to be the best value at this price point. I like that it has a built in amplifier so I didn't need to go out and purchase an external one, I can plug my Pioneer DDJ-1000 directly into this speaker via RCA connections and I'm ready to go. For large house parties I connect this speaker to a Seismic Audio Baby Tremor 15inch powered subwoofer and the sound is phenomenal. I DJ primarily hip-hop/rap and EDM music (mainly dubstep) which are arguably two of the most bass heavy genres and this speaker combined with my subwoofer delivers great low end bass. For smaller parties and private get togethers this speaker performs just fine without the subwoofer. I've had it this speaker for about 4 months now and it's met all of my needs thus far. Although I don't use the bluetooth feature very often, I like that it has it. The speaker comes with a stand, but as others have mentioned, it's not the best quality so be cautious when using it. I did not get much use out of the included stand because I use a subwoofer attachment shaft so my speaker typically sits on top of a pole connected to my subwoofer for my gigs. The speaker is surprisingly light for its size, and it has wheels and handles on the top and sides of the speaker, which gives it great portability.

The sound qualities of a level you would expect from alphasonic. you need a lot more power than the average speaker to move these so 1600 watts is appropriate for single 10-inch woofer and tweeter. Sound reproduction is accurate not deafening loud but loud enough to be heard over the noise in my foundry... Yes I have this for a stereo system in a foundry and we can hear the music clearly throughout the whole place. If I were to nitpick about something that remote control is very fragile. and it's very hard to get a replacement I've sent emails into the manufacturer and they swear they can sell me some for $15 even though it's not an individualy sold part but then the email trail runs cold. Just make sure the seller includes everything that he says in the ad... I purchased a set that had a tripod. I had to purchase the tripod separately from another place because the seller is listing more items in the sale than is actually selling. Again great product terrible seller.
