Decent substitute for Krups original

Using this carafe is slightly different from using original equipment. The Krups cap sticks tightly into this generic carafe. Removing lid when coffee finishes brewing can result in steam or wet burns. Also, you have to pour at a slower rate than with original equipment, in order to avoid back-spillage. I have adapted, and will use this until it gets broken. Then, I will order a Krups!
