Good optics on this optical!

In the past its been a hit or miss on my using optical cables. The polish on the ends is of paramount importance. Also the covering to shield extraneous light and prevent kinking. I've spent top dollar on an optical cable to find a good one. I was impressed enough to buy a second of the same expensive brand, only to find that the performance was half that of the original (the critical polish again). I was comparing the Ivanky to my coaxial (Anticable) and didn't hear any significant difference. The highs were smoother with the Ivanky. The bottom was just as full and impactful and the middle had good space and instrument separation. I'll be buying more of these.

This optical cable is heavy duty. The braided construction makes it seem like it could be hit by a tank and keep working. It's a thick cord and has a heavy duty construction to the plastic for the input. Fits great in my TV and sound bar as well. You won't be disappointed cause it's better built and way cheaper than you'll pay at your local Wally's World. It might be a little more expensive than other cables online, but none of them will hold up as long as this one will. Buy with confidence.

Good for SONY equipment

I was looking for a longer audio cable than what I currently have which is 3 feet. This cable is a great length at 6 feet and made it easier to connect my audio equipment. I have a SONY bravia system and the sound with this cable is just as good as before. Easy to plug in and the braided nylon makes it feel extra sturdy. Hubby enjoys the quality as a sound enthusiast. Overall, good quality cable and sound hasn't changed!

This a good solid, well constructed cable. Once connected it stays connected. This optical cable reproduces excellent sound from my television to my Sound bar, completing my home theater connection. Disclaimer: ivanky reimbursed me for the cost of the cable in exchange for doing this review. The cable was ordered from Amazon though so I have no reason to suspect I received a different product from what anyone else would get.

I've only used this a few times since I received it but have no complaints.

Like:
- Braided cord seems to have helped the lifespan on my ivanky aux cable so I assume it will help on this too
- Length is more than I need for my setup and gives me room to expand
- Caps for the ends are connected to the cable so the end is protected even when not in use (I've lost caps before that weren't connected to the cable)
- Price - ivanky seems to have good products for their price point (I've had aux cables form them as well)
