Definitely should have gotten a 2x since I have like a 39 waist but a lot of different reviews made me want to be on the safe side and just order the biggest size, I'm actually okay with it being bigger because yeah it really doesn't have any stretch but it's very easy to safety pin so I can get a really nice fit and it's not obvious that it's pinned up, super cute color but a little more purple looking than I expected. I personally like the length a lot but I'm just about 5'5 and don't like skirts that reach my knees, material doesn't feel that cheap and it's very sturdy with the pleats. Do yourself a favor and just cut the shorts out they really are useless and made me think the skirt wasn't gonna fit when I first tried it on since it didn't let it sit at my waist but more at the middle of my stomach, super super cute and I really recommend buying if you're a bigger size, just be absolutely sure of your measurements before you buy to get the best fit possible, and unless you're not planning on losing weight and are in-between sizes I recommend sizing up !!

The waist and flare of the skirt look great! It's not like other high waisted skirts where the flare is only there if you were a petticoat or something to fluff it up. I fluctuate between a size 16-18 US pant size, so I decided to go with a 3x. It fits just fine besides the undershorts, they shrunk after the first wash and then ripped. The shorts are made from very thin fabric and they will either ride up like a second pair of underwear or stay around your thighs, no in between. The shorts are less stretchy than the skirt itself, so when you bend down or something they will rip along the outside thigh seam. The zipper gave me an issue only once, it wouldn't come down after I got off work. There's enough give in the waist that you can get it off and on without unzipping though, so I just took it off, and after I washed it, it unzipped just fine.

The skirt is really great and cute! Just has some small issues! I definitely will buy another skirt from them and possibly just cut the shorts out to avoid shrinking and ripping over time.

I've been looking forward to writing this review as I didn't see many plus size girls chiming in with useful information. I will drop my measurements and size for reference down below!

This skirt is super cute! I really love it, my only complaint is the weird size chart and the shorts. I ended up cutting the shorts out of the skirt, they were a very odd, sheer white material that felt a little itchy. There were also a lot of loose strings and about an inch of extra zipper (past where it ended) on the inside that I fixed myself. I wouldn't put this in the washer, I would hand wash and hang to dry since there were already loose threads upon shipping.

I wear a 14/16 in American Eagle jeans. I carry my weight in my stomach, thighs and booty, AKA the holy trinity. I got the pink skirt and went with a 3X since I was nervous about the 1X fitting (I saw girls much skinnier than me wearing that size), and the 2X was sold out. I think the 2X probably would've been perfect, although probably a little tight. I really just wanted the pink one and figured I could pin it or wear a belt if it was too big. I can pull the skirt out about an inch from my waist and it sinks down to my hips without a belt.

EDIT: I ordered a second skirt, size XL and I could barely get it past my butt, and I definitely could NOT get it zipped even an inch. For my big booty ladies, size up! I ordered an XXL so I will update tomorrow if that one fits! I may just be stuck between sizes and forced to alter the 3X to fit me.

The skirt looked exactly like the picture and the pink was a lovely shade. The material felt comfortable and durable. This item was pretty but a bit short in length.

The only inconvenience and the reason why I had to return the item was that the shorts under the skirt were not stretchy, and my thighs would not fit. For this reason, I was unable to wear the skirt and had to return it.

I would recommend this skirt to people with smaller thighs. Or if the buyer is willing to cut the shorts under because the skirt is comfortable, soft, and looks exactly like the picture. Also, this skirt could be matched with multiple tops.
