This challenge coin is so well done. Bought for my friend to give to her once shes completes the POST Academy. It also came inside a clear sleeve to protect it. 🖤ðŸ’'🖤 A little upset there is rather noticeable orange mark on the obverse side of the coin. 😕 But over all happy.
A gift for a local LEO

I forgot to take a picture like I planned, but the coin looks great and doesn't feel cheap at all.
I ordered this to give to a LEO who works in my town and who has always been kind to my girlfriend and I.
When I was at my last job, I'd have a lot of free time, and we (gf and I) would sit in a local shopping center, and at night officers would show up at the Starbucks there. We'd be outside, and would always talk to them when they had time.
We would talk about current events, how his shift was going, life, etc. so when I saw the coin I had to get it for him.
I brought it to the station and spoke with an officer in the dispatch room (I assume that's what the room was) and upon looking at the coin, that officer recognized what it was (when I told them why I was there [the door was locked and I had to buzz in] he seem pleasantly suprised that someone not related to an officer would give an officer something like this).
If you have the extra $12 and there has been a local LEO, or any LEO that has made an impact on you, I'd recommend ordering one and giving it to the officer's supervisor to give to him/her for you.
The supervisor I spoke to asked if I wanted to give my name, so I did and left a short note.
A few hours later I guess the officer started his shift, and sent me a message over Facebook thanking me for the coin saying he would keep it in the breast pocket of his uniform.
That right there made my day, the fact that he thanked me for such a small token of thanks.
With everything going on in our country, a small token of thanks, whether it's a coin like this or a letter or anything, it's a great feeling to show our LEO's that they're still appreciated.
