Universal adapter worked well in Indonesia. I read the directions to figure out how to pull out the correct power plug. That's the tricky part,so keep directions with the adapter. Put the adapter in the cloth bag into my luggage to protect it. Highly recommend.

Once I figured out, the only place for an American plug was in the front. It was a great adapter. I had looked over and over the instructions, and that was not in there. Otherwise, this worked great for my trip abroad.

The quality of these is fantastic. They're very sturdy, but also easily configure to match the plug you need them for. They're also quite compact which makes them easy to pack in a carry on bag. I bought two for a family trip to Europe and they worked like a charm. My parents purchased adapters from different companies and those either broke or didn't fit the plugs in the first place, but these lasted the whole trip and still look and feel like new. By the end of the trip, my father was borrowing one of my adapters to charge his phone because his non-Hero adapter wouldn't work. Because of the 2 USB ports on the top of the adapter I was able to make due with only one. I can't recommend these enough. They're fantastic!

I didn't realize it came apart to reveal a different plug at the first stop on our trip, but after I found the plug I was looking for I was amazed! I could charge all of my devices in rotation. I only wish I had bought another so everything could charge as we slept!
