Worked for my 1927 Singer 99, yay!!
JoneB✓ Verified Purchase•September 21, 2023
I just refurbished a great old Singer 99 sewing machine, it came to me without a foot pedal, also no wiring. I had previously ordered this for a 1923 White Rotary after having it's motor rewired and it works just like new - so, I knew it would work for the Singer 99. Back now to order that! So glad it was available, these machines can now go for another 100 years. I've purchased other NGOSEW items and have been very pleased with them all.
The foot pedal.

I replaced the knee pedal on my vintage machine. I liked the foot pedal better. I did have to use gorilla glue to install the outlet part of the machine. I was hoping it had to be screwed to the wall of the sewing cabinet. So far the glue is holding it on the side of the wood cabinet. I like the foot pedal it is easier for me to use.
Works perfectly--Even better than the last one I had

Still using my grandmother's Dressmaker machine. She's been gone for 30 years, but she'd be tickled her machine is still humming along. The only thing I've had to replace is the power cord. Purchased this unit and it worked perfectly. The foot control is actually better than the last one I had. Thank you!
Perfect for White 764 Fair Lady

I can't speak to durability, as I have not had this for long, but, I can say it was EXACTLY what I was looking for for my White 764 Fair Lady. The machine came in a cabinet I had no plans to use. The machine mounted pedal/knee bracket wouldn't reach the floor once removed, plus the wiring looked sketchy (dry rotting). The wire coming from the original duplex switch for the power cord had had some rigged wiring with a lamp cord, connected with electrical tape vs soldering and/or wire nuts. The patch joint and the original pedal box got hot quickly under load, so I decided a total upgrade was in order. Found one here and it was literally plug and sew. I have a new wiring setup with a foot pedal that will reach the floor from the machine base. I mounted the duplex switch in the bottom of the cubby portion of the base with adhesive hook and loop so it sits securely, until I remove the machine from the base for maintenance. I included a pic of the machine in the cubby and the view of the duplex switch setup.
Works perferctly

I have an 1950's or earlier Good Housekeeper sewing machine purchased at an estate auction. The pedal assembly did not work but the machine wasn't froze up. We took a gamble on the foot switch, purchased this one because it "looked" like the one that we knew didn't work. Plugged the sewing machine into the new one and everything appears to work fine. We purchased the old sewing machine because of the mechanical components of the older models should work for some heavy duty canvas work. Typical of the boating DIY'ers. Sew far, sew good. We recommend this item. Many of the older machines have this type of pedal assembly with the inline receptacle outlet for the motor and light. Letting you know if works for Good Housekeeper models too.
