At first this product did not work out but it turned out it was a problem of setting things up in the right order.
1.Reestablishing a connection between DJI Spark and the Remote.
2. Turning on phone
3. plugging cord to phone and then to remote.
4. you will get an error message, ignore it. It worked fine for me and I was able to connect without any issues after that.

There has been some talk of the OTG cables not functioning properly with the Spark after a recent firmware update (Fall 2017) so I was worried this cable might not work. Rest assured, it works just fine (at least it does for me on the iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 11). If you are having trouble, make sure you turn on the controller and the Spark and wait for the little red light on the controller to turn green. Then, and only then, plug in the cable to the controller and then to your iPhone or iPad. If it doesn't connect the first time, unplug the controller end and plug it back in. Repete this until it connects. Usually, it works on the first try.
Also, I would recommend buying the iPad version. The cord is a little longer but not too long and it works fine with the iPhone.
Caveat: I've had the cord for less than a day so I'm not sure about durability yet. I'll try to remember to give an update in a couple of months.

Cable worked just fine. I have the DJi Spark and remote and it still works. Only problem... ...I have an iPhone 7 Plus. This cable is too small. Just bought the longer remote to iPad one for it. Hopefully that works. Don't do my mistake and assume it will work with your larger phone. Other than that great product!

Fast shipping work well. Even though I think the cord is slightly short, it work well and fits to my I pad. One is connected to my I pad and the othe is connected to the DJI Mavic. Also, the cord looks durable!
