if you want to breathe in cancerous flumes and have all your pots and porch stained with black paint
Rachel•June 1, 2018
We are home brewers and the height worked for us HOWEVER if you want to breathe in cancerous flumes and have all your pots and porch stained with black paint, then purchase this product. We wanted to love it, but the amount of black paint that was released because of the design of the product was unacceptable. I know others have complained about it before and I would hope that they would remove the black paint from their product because it does not well with high heat. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I normally do not like to give a negative review, but honestly....it just did not work out well for us.
Bring the heat
Scott•May 14, 2018
Sounds like a blow torch cranked up and ready to get after it. During periods of darkness, crank up the heat and watch it burn like the afterburners on a fighter jet. Tons of ports bring the heat to your pot and get it rolling like bullfrogs in the shallows munching on baby tadpoles. The braided hose is high quality, the red on/off knob seems fragile. Heavy unit.

Sturdy and powerful
M. Job•February 5, 2018
This burner really does a great job. Used this with a 60 qt pot and had another one on a different burner for a low country boil. This burner outperformed the other one and was not even halfway on. Also had a lot of comments about how sturdy it was with 9 gallons of water and 20 lbs of food in it. It does use a lot of propane when turned up. Also used this same burner and 60 qt pot to fry wings for the Super Bowl. It has enough power to get the temp back up after dumping a bunch of wings in. Highly recommended.
Super Sturdy and Heats Water Quickly
Mandolihn•January 31, 2018
This is a VERY stable and sturdy heavy duty burner. I used it for my 80 QT stock pot to boil wax out of shirts for batik and it worked BEAUTIFULLY! Water started at about 34 degrees F and got to a simmer in about 30-45 minutes in -2F temps. (Yes, really that cold. Such is life in MN.) The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are that 1) the hose won't screw all of the way into the burner. There is still about 1/8" of threading sticking out which doesn't affect the use, as long as you press the airflow valve against the base, and 2) they coat the burner in a paint that they specifically won't handle the heat in the product description. That's all fine and dandy, but the smell that it puts off is HORRIBLY toxic smelling! Once burnt, it'll be fine, but I highly recommend if you plan to use this for food, that you let it burn off at least an hour before bringing ingestables anywhere near it. Aside from those two things, this burner is a beast!
