Burned through the 50 grit. I used a grinder, probably was spinning too fast and couldn't keep enough water on it.
I had extremely smooth counters after 200grit, couldn't notice much difference beyond that.
Great product! Great price! Makes a mess, walls, ceiling, in your ears...
worked well.

great value. used these and grinder under $50 from northern tool to reclaim a large piece of quartz that had been in the woods for years. Lots of elbow grease, but these worked and custom counter top came out beautifully.
Awesome

Used them for polishing edges of granite tiles for countertops. ALWAYS start with the lowest grit, just like the instructions say, and the results are phenomenal for the price. I used them with a harbor freight $30 compressed air polisher, and it works great. I have a good air compressor though, so that makes it easier. As much water as I was slinging, I'd be skeptical of doing it with an electric model.

Great product, will certainly buy again when they wear out.
Work great but you should only use wet and only on LOW speeds.

Worked great! I would HIGHLY recommend using a variable speed polisher. I bought one at Harbor Freight for $32. A grinder is simply too fast. I only went up to MAYBE 1000 RPM.

Anyway, check out the pictures to see what I was getting out.

Definitely use wet.
