Our HVAC contractor wanted $125 to replace the humidifier pad in our furnace in a crawl space. If going into a crawl space is something you'd prefer not to do, pay the $125. I'm comfortable going in, though, so this saved me a bit over $100, and was well worth it. With this replacement pad in hand, the total replacement time was about 5 minutes. It was a simple drop-in. It helps to have the model number of the humidifier unit to verify compatibility, but the Amazon website makes that easy.
