Took the plunge and went all in for a DIY ceramic coating kit. This one had pretty good reviews so I went with this one. There are others out there and I am sure they are all good, but I am here to report on this specific brand.

I have a 2017 Honda Pilot so it's still new with very little issues with the paint. Nevertheless, I used polish on the hood just to make sure the surface was smooth because from what I read, once you apply this on it's no going back.

The best advice I can give is to work in small areas. I got impatient and did a large area and it dried in some areas before I could buff it off. The area gazed up and now I am having to use elbow grease and rubbing compound to correct the hazing and start that area all over again.

So work in small areas and be patient. Buff off everything before it dries. The end results are beyond awesome. I just hope it lasts as long as it says (3yrs)

This is the first ceramic coating I have ever tried and I'm not impressed. After carefully following instructions my car was left with Water spots everywhere... If I wanted to pay to have the water bead off my car I would have used virtually anything. Waste of money, will try cquartz next...

Impressed so far. Relatively easy to apply (pay attention to where you put your gloved hands). After removeing a few hazy spots using a light compound, It's clear (no pun) that the application creates a relatively thick layer. Done with care, the improvement is noticeable. I'm curious how durable the coating will be but, so far, I'm impressed enough to treat my wife car before salt season.

Having used a few different ceramic/nano coatings over several years I found this to be up there with the top ones I have used. The packaging itself was impressive, the contents well laid out and would perhaps have liked more cotton application pads as I prefer 2 or 3 per panel to maintain a clean pad and the light blue wiping off cloth could have been larger or even 2 enclosed. Nonetheless it's a very excellent product, applies easily and removes easily too, to leave a high gloss coating. I have experimented and found that it can be cured at heat within a short period. My studio is normally around 25 to 30 degrees and I find it cures well after about 6 to 10 hours. Plan to order more and highly recommend this to any car detailer.

Having had many sealant applications prior to this, I really have to say this is very different. It is not like a regular sealant or wax and (and the products tells you so)After we went through application manual and video, the results were very different than a wax, gloss on my car and it took a glassy look and the surface is so slick.
