I got these for a couple of reasons. One is that when I lotion up my dry feet, I don't like walking around on my floors barefoot for about an hour after. This time of year socks are too hot, but these keep my lotion in place and not on my floors and my feet are comfortable!
Also, I do like the nonskid traction on the bottom, no slipping.
And if you need to slip in a pair of flip flops to go grab your mail or untangle the pooch, you can do that with these socks.
