It's cute. It's light weight, flowy and airy. I got the pink/purple and it's exactly as picture. It's a little big so I would size down. I got the medium, and I'm thinking about grabbing Smalls next time. I'm 5'1 around 140lbs lol... the only place I will say what may get a little hot in summer weather is around neck Bc that's where the fabric just sits right up against skin.

I ordered a Medium because I wear Medium tops and I probably could have gone with the small. I realized the Small Medium and Larges all only differ by 0.5 in the measurement so the Small still would have been big, but that is what you expect from a kimono, right?

I ordered the Red, and let me tell you, I love it!!!! Any of the reviews other people said about loose threads and things like that, I'm happy to report were not issues with mine. It's sheer and thin and not meant to keep you warm. For me it's an accessory type item, to add color to what I'm wearing, hide my upper arms, and flow! So far I wore it over something, wore it under a jacket with it peeping out giving splash of color, and even worn it to the beach. I don't know, I like it allot and want to buy more colors. (UPDATE: I did buy more colors [white, navy blue, the light green, and I went back and bought the red in small and gave the medium to a friend as a gift because she liked it when she saw me wearing it], and love all of them exactly the same as the first one. They work so well with all my outfits!!!)

I live in California and we're having a major heat wave, I'm fair and burn easily, and I also like that this is so sheer and cooling, but also kinda adds a layer of protection against the sun so the sun isn't hitting directly on my skin. Love it!

This kimono is lightweight and fit as expected (I'm 5'5", 125lb, and ordered the small). It's loose and flowy with a true dolman/bat sleeve. When I ordered, I didn't realize that the front panels were pleated at the shoulder; I guess I assumed that it was just how the kimono was draped on the model/mannequin. I found the pleating to actually be quite pronounced and it took away from the overall look for me. I ordered the taupe, and I suspect the solid color exaggerated the pleating more than a print would. The thought crossed my mind that the pleating makes it look like a graduation gown, and I couldn't unthink it, so will be returning.

This hangs somewhat loose around my body, which is fine because I have a very hourglass figure. It drapes attractively on me, conceals my upper arms and my behind very well. It fit perfectly on my shoulders and did not slip off once. The fabric is very thin so don't buy this if you are looking for something to keep you warm. I imagine it looks better on me than a very thin person. I think it may look too oversized for them. My daughter is a size 0-2 and she could not wear this.

I wear a size 8-10 petites and I bought the medium. It is an attractive, elegant cut, but it is not a quality piece of clothing either. I wasn't expecting that for the price I paid. There were many, many threads at the stitching all around the garment as others have already mentioned. It's coming out from the folded raw edges where it is sewn. They can be easily snipped, but there were many so don't bother if you don't have the patience to clean it up.

Overall, I like it. It looked as I expected it to. It could be cut a little smaller around the torso, but it still wears fine.
