I received my package today and it was a really big scoby. This is my first attempt at kombucha and it was nice it came with directions. I will say the starter tea smelled like vinegar and the "best by" date was the same day as delivery. That was strange to me. I've just added it to my brew and only time will tell. I'll report back.
