This strong well made sock puller worked without any issues. Hand and arm strength is necessary as it would be without the help of this item. Maneuver the sock foot onto the form, put foot into the base then pull up with the ropes. The sock rises over the ankle if you cannot stretch your leg out. Pull sock up with one's hands takes solid pulling . Getting the sock off the foot upon removal is another issue. I found that a long handled shoe horn directly behind one's heel, shove the sock off with that motion. I can do this just fine. It's worth a little getting use to as we all want to manage without much effort but lost flexibility makes for necessary changes. I'm very happy with this sock puller because it is very effective.
