Pretty crappy designing and pretty lackluster craftsmanship. The straps are about a mile long, pulled tight around my rifle stock they miss attaching to the Velcro by about 4 inches. I've managed to wrap them back around, folded under each other to get them to stay so the pouch is somewhat stationary on the rifle.
I will say, the cheek peice is great, was almost a perfect lineup for me on my scope. The shell holder configuration is nice, if only there wasn't 8 inches of straps over all the Velcro that the shell holder goes on.

I love how versatile this pouch is. I purchased this for my daughter's boyfriend who is also teaching my grandson to shoot. We're teaching him the proper way to care for a gun and how to shoot at the range. He's not hunting at this point. Perhaps in a few year,s but not right now. That said, I like that this can hold 30-06 bullets easily as that's my daughter's boyfriend's hunting gun of choice. I also like that the cheek rest can be used on either side. My daughter's boyfriend is left handed, and my grandson is right handed so the fact that it can be used either way is a great added feature. I also love the fact that this buttstock can fit various rifle stocks. The only drawback I've seen so far is that the velcro straps are a bit too lon,g but like Adam said that can be easily fixed with a snip of scissors if need be.Then again better too long, then too short! Overall this is very well made and a very durable material . This will make a great gift for anyone who loves to shoot. The only other drawback is it will NOT hold shotgun shells but can be put inside a pocket. Overall a terrific item and terrific value.
