This is an impressive product. Go on YouTube and watch the demo video. It really is as easy as that. The steps fold up so easily with little effort of the person using this. Very attractive and folds up so as not to be in the way or take up too much space. The grip area is comfortable and well designed. I'm thinking nursing homes should all have this item as the person who fell can not feel so completely helpless in getting themselves back on their feet.

Purchased for my 89 year old Mother who can no longer stand after a fall and I have difficulty lifting her. This worked even better than I hoped. She was able to lift herself from step to step. Once at the top it was easy to get her over to a chair. Folds up for storage, a little bigger than I expected, but we were able to use it in a doorway, where she had her next fall. I highly recommend this product, very sturdy and exactly what I needed.

We saw this at a friend's house and thought it was just what we needed because one of us has been having falls and we both have trouble getting up when we get down. We practised on it a couple times and used it once when my partner took a hard fall. It is pretty much as advertised. We did think it was pricey. It is also a little heavy to move around. It is easiest to get up if there is a counter or a table you can also use to pull up on. Obviously you need to have someone get it to where you are, unless you are all on one floor and can get yourself to it. Overall, I would say we feel a little more secure having it in the house.
Great Design. Works if you can boost yourself up 4.5 inches.

Unfortunately we tried this item too late for my Mother. She lacks the strength to do it now. I wish that we had ordered it 2 or 3 years ago. This is a really well designed device. If you can boost yourself up 4.5 inches then I recommend this product. I love how it is really lightweight, folds or unfolds with easy one finger strength. Once folded up it is very space efficient. The material is very strong and stable in its design. It may sound like a lot of money but what is your independence and preventing injuries worth?
