I don't consider myself handy at all. I get intimidated by simple household tasks. When my elevated hallway recessed light bulb went out I was left with two options to change it; borrow or purchase a step ladder or purchase a light bulb pole. The light bulb pole would be cheaper, safe and convenient to use (chances are I am going to need it again and again everytime a light bulb goes out in my home.

Excellent product - works great. I've never used something like this before and kept worrying the bulb would lose suction and fall out but it worked like a charm. Be sure to purchase the correct size though and use it on bulbs with smooth surfaces (not the ones with textured or dimpled surfaces). This is meant for flood lights and not your standard A19 bulb. I ordered the incorrect one and the seller was very gracious and made it right - thank you!

It works. I've used it to change several bulbs on my raised ceiling. Dust off the bulb first like they tell you in the instructions and then go to it. Nice not having to pull out the ladder and my even my wife can figure it out.
Be aware...you're only getting what is pictured. You need to buy an extension pole or jerry rig your own pole into this.

Thought this was a gimick, but it actually works as advertised. Now I no longer have to pay building maintenance to change my lightbulbs. It paid for itself the first time I used it. Since so many newer mops and brooms have permanently attached poles, I wasn't sure I had anything with a pole that detached. But I lucked out with an ancient broom I use just for my balcony.

Works perfectly! Wish I had bought it earlier. We have a number of recessed BR30 floodlights which are too high to reach with a small ladder, and I can't be bothered to get out a big ladder every time a bulb needs replacing. This screws onto a standard pole (I took the broom head off and used that pole), and suctions onto the bulb for unscrewing and replacing. It coped with the heavier LED bulb no problem. Highly recommend.
