I just ordered two of these air conditioner brackets. I have used them in the past. They are straightforward have a bubble level and do a really good job. We are a property management company and have to install air conditioners quite often. This is a really good product and not complicated to use. It does a good job bottom line.

Didn't work with vinyl siding.

This didn't work for me. I have vinyl siding, and the rubber foot didn't work with the vinyl and/or the angle of the siding where it overlapped. The angle was either much too low or angled in toward the house. Neither were superior to just having some window brackets.

I don't feel this should be used if you don't have an external sill. There is a gap that would need to be filled if used inside. check out pics. I also didn't care for the instructions.
