I placed these on my daughters windows back in the fall so they have only gotten some use but seem to work so far. I like that it has the 3M tape to stick where I want on the window rather than drilling any holes. It's also nice that they fold and have a thin profile so if I wanted to open the windows all the way I could.

Easy to mount, no trouble locking/unlocking latch. Nice firm hold preventing further opening by kids. Definetely happy with this product so far.
