Nothing like what we expected

The lamp is nothing like what we expeted. The floating matter takes a long time to warm and start moving. The colors are simply drawn on the surface of the lamp, which is easily toopled off the base and easy to break. The bulb burnt out after a few hours of use but after our return window. These bulbs are not standard and cannot be easily replaced. We have a chunky, unappealing object, which we cannot use, currently tucked away in a closet, awaiting its time for a trip to the wlectrical appliances recycling center.

Most disappointing. It looks like this item was tinted within. Unlike the traditional lava lamps in which the lava makes continual, different shaes, this one has a predictable movement. Don't waste your money!

I'm not sure if the bulb is broken or the power chord. The lava lamp worked for about an hour and then just turned off. I couldn't get it to work in a different outlet or after reinserting the light bulb. I'll be returning this product. Very disappointed because I was excited to show it off in my apartment.
Lava stops moving after a week.

I can't give this item one star or I would. I'm on my second one in four weeks, they just stop working. The light comes on, but after a couple days of running the lava doesn't move. I will be finding another brand as my son loves the idea of having a lava lamp in his room

Looks a lot nicer than it is. Cheap looking colored paint to give the multi color look. The light burned out in less than a week of occasional use. The metal cone peice for the top was either missing or I guess I could have left if in the box when I tossed it.
