I watched a video of someone who knew what he was doing use a pair of similar clamps to construct a storage shelf on YouTube so I bought two of these to help me construct a storage shelf in my garage and they worked perfectly. I'm just an ordinary guy (not a carpenter) and without question these saved me a couple of hours of work and helped me to construct a very sturdy storage shelf. This turned out to be a very good cost effective and time effective purchase and product. Easy five stars.

Works great, just used again on a project this past weekend. As a side note, the screw mechanism works great - my 6 year-old wanted to help, so I let her set the screw while I held the boards in place. After she was done, I reached down to set the screw more firmly, but it was already there! Love this clamp - holds firmly and seems to be well built. Screw action is coarse enough to keep you from having to twist all day, yet smooth enough to not have any snags when turning it. The swivel action is also very good.

Obviously you're looking at this clamp as a way to hold 2 pieces of material together at a perfect 90 degree angle. The good news is that it does that. The bad news is that for box-shaped work, you really need multiple clamps to hold the entire piece at a perfect 90 degrees.
Would buy again.
