Coloration Darker but Nice Set

The coloration in this is as others said, darker than it looks on line. If you think the center will be off white, it's not..... it's more dark almond. That being said, I like the dinnerware. The dinner plates are a nice size but the salad plates are a little small. The bowls are a good size for soup or cereal. The coffee cups are quite large though - just be aware of that. This is not a slim/light set - it has weight to it. I am happy with it but I like to change out my dinnerware every 2 years or so. The brown was a little different this time around.
OMG! I LOVE them!

I was totally surprised and happy with these dishes. The Pictures doesn't due them justice If you like rich warm colors, get these. The brown is a warm brown which means there's a little red. But it's not dominant. There were no chips or breaks. The center color of the plates are a little darker, I.e. tan, than picture. There's a ring in the center that appears in my picture, but not in person. However, it gives the plate character. The ring is the actual color in the center. I even put one of my turquoise cake plates in the center to mix them up. And my daughter said they look good together. So if you want to mix and match, you can.
Was happy, now not.

Had these for a little over a year and no chips or scratches, really happy with them. Last night I put two in the oven like they say you can printed right on the bottom and after only a few minutes both plates cracked in half. DONT BELIEVE THE LABEL ON BOTTOM, DON'T PUT IN OVEN.
Wish I could replace two plates with out buying whole set.

Love it... i loved it so much i bought 3 sets. Sturdy, nice shine, in my opinion a classy look. Well made worth the money. The were packaged well, and have held up to my rushed brutality in the sink, dishwasher and microwave, since I always seem to be in a rush. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them.
I saw the other reviews about how great they looked

Ordered 2 sets of these to replace another Gibson set that got chips in the plates after only 4 weeks (Lewisville Elite.) Opened 1st box of plates & 2 of the 4 had flaws! One a had a white spot on it & the other had paint scraped off the edge, or never even completely painted in the first place - see pics. Didn't even open the 2nd box - these Gibson dishes are going back, too. I saw the other reviews about how great they looked, too, but I didn't think so. On the tan areas, there are lots of dark streaks that make them look dirty. I was not impressed with these at all. I'm not going to buy a Gibson brand next.
