This was a great birthday gift

I recently bought this as a gift for my father in law. This was a great birthday gift. He absolutely loved it. Installation was extremely straight forward. It works great and is very sturdy. I definitely would recommend this product, especially given the price.
Got the shots I needed and didn't break the bank to do it.

This worked really good, I used it on a scope with a rangefinding reticle to simulate a rifle scope during a short film. I was able to get a very convincing shot, the panning felt very much like the movements of a real rifle.
Connecting it was very easy and it mounted securely.
My only concern is the durability of the screws that lock it onto the spotting scope eyepiece. They are plastic which ensures you won't mar the eyepiece, but they seem like they will strip out if overtightened. Getting plastic replacement screws in the event they do strip out may be problematic.
Overall I'm satisfied with its performance, and for the price, possibly having to replace a few screws in the future is definitely acceptable. Just need to treat it gently.

I had actually gotten this for a friend of ours who has been wanting to find a way that he could photograph some of the stuff that he's gets captured through his telescope I thought this was kind a neat I'm sure he'll be able to figure out how to hook it up and set it up I took a look at it and it looks pretty sturdy pretty well-made and I think he will definitely be able to get some good shots with this and his telescope.
