This was the best thing for my babies. My 10 month old is my water baby and he loved this. I was able to push him around in deeper water and he liked using his feet n pushing himself in the shallow water, then on his back he fell asleep to the waves. Great investment if you have an infant in the summer are in the water. I do have the shade but didn't use it much. My oldest I used it but he didn't move around much or like to be in the water so it was good for him, my youngest just grabbed at it so we used with out.

I'm a huge fan of this for my baby (11 months). You can put them in sitting, or you can flip them on their belly. I love it because it puts him in a proper swimming position when on his belly (not upright in the water which is dangerous as that's considered the "drowning position"). The 5-point harness is great too. I feel comfortable pushing him around the pool when he's sitting in it, and he likes to practice kicking and splashing when he's in it on his belly. We haven't tried the 3rd position where they can sit and play on it (he's not quite there), but I'm excited as this will grow with him and his skills. I also really love the little sun shade. It works great, and it flips depending on their positioning. So worth the money for what it offers.
Definitely helps us all enjoy pool time now!

This float is not only adorable, it has really helped my toddler have more fun in the pool by securing him in a better swimming position. While he cannot swim yet, this float almost instantly have him courage to kick and "race" is in the pool.
Also for me (mom) & the rest of the family, it helps us to have more fun together so that no one has to hold our son the entire time.
Clearly, our son stays in our sight 24/7 & in a quick reach. I by NO means use this float to babysit him. A float can also break or malfunction at any time. So keeping all of this in mind, we are all around him having fun and can relax a bit.
I may buy a 2nd float (same float) just to have as backup because I can see it not lasting long, but it's so great that if/when it breaks, it will be an emergency to buy another one. Lol!
Oh, just another fyi-once you strap your baby in, they may shift their weight forward and fall forward, especially if the ground is uneven. This is great in the water, not so much on land.
Basically, this float is absolutely awesome, just be very aware of these things and keep your baby close as I'm sure you already do! â¤ï¸

I own two of these because I love the way baby floats and can reach the water while also kicking.
If you get the shade cover, know that it will be at an angle no matter what you do, but it helps, especially in the desert where I live.
Bad side, my newest one got a small puncture on the top in what seemed to be an easy to patch place. I had a patch that came with it, followed the full instructions and made the repair. Less than a week later, the patch came off fully. Tried to patch again and it lasted less than 2 days. I've tried to contact the customer support but after a week have received no response.
**Update -- still never received any contact from customer service but a proper vinyl patch (
