The sheets are a pleasing subdued shade of lavender. I washed them with a cup of baking soda and a mild detergent before sleeping on them. I truly love them. They are soft and feel very luxurious and comfy. I layer them with several light cotton blankets on top and this has eased my hot flashes so much that the last 2 nights i have slept 8 hours which is a vast improvement attributable only to the sheets. I do have a pair I purchased in France and if I were to compare them it would be that this Amazon company's linen is a finer weave and the hemming is a bit more "machine like" - one is not better than another, just different. This is a definite buy.

I really like these sheets. I have been wanting to try linen sheets but they were a bit pricy...I found these and decided to go for it. I have had them on my bed for a short time..so I will see how they last.

I love that they are deep pocket sheets they fit great. I love the feel and looking forward in how they feel in the heat of the summer.
Really great qualitity ... the pillow cases have a nice end evelope feature. I love the robin egg color.

They do wrinkle alot..but I love linen and I love that look. They are soft and seem to get softer after each washing.
They are not scratchy at all like some might think.

I'm very pleased with these linen sheets. Especially considering the price. The order was delivered super fast. I washed the sheets with baking soda, as other reviewers suggested. And then washed using my usual laundry detergent. They are fairly soft, not scratchy. I expect with more use and washing the softness will improve. Other reviewers use Wollite, which might help,with softness. I didn't have that detergent to use.
The fit on my queen size matress was good. I use a memory foam topper and the sheets fit well including the topper. The sheets did not slide or move through the night. I've other sheets that are "dragged"off the bed with the weight of the blankets. Nor did the corners pop off the fitted sheet. The pillow cases have a fold over pocket that I found a nice, tidy touch.
I do love the peach-pink color. It was the exact color I wanted, for having a calming, mellow sleep environment. Most importantly the CAT was fine with the sheets. I expect for a greater investment the expensive sheets are well worth the cost. These linen sheets work fine for my ever cheap self.

I bought an additional set in the duck at a blue. The color is really pretty and they hold up. The original set is several years old and has held up very well. The additional say it was bought because I think they're going to discontinue the color and it's my favorite.

MY HONEST REVIEW AFTER 5 MONTHS
I bought these in August and waited to see how they were holding up so I can write this review . After reading other reviews I got tips, I strictly followed the DELICATE CYCLE, COLD WATER, WOOLITE/BABY DETERGENT AND ONLY AIR DRY/VERY LOW HEAT!!! I washed these (no dryer just keep restarting a wash cycle) this way ATLEAST 7 TIMES before I even bothered putting them on my king sized bed. THEIR LINEN PEOPLE THEIR NOT MEANT TO BE SOFT OUT OF THE PKG!!!! It soften them enough to start using. After a month, I now weekly wash now, sometimes 2 cycles-bc I have dogs- b4 they go in the AIR ONLY/LOW HEAT CYCLE DRYER. Mine are now really getting so soft and comfy I'll never buy any other sheet. Mine didnt shrink at all, AIR ONLY LOW HEAT maybe.. the elastic is perfect, no holes. I now use regular detergent but they NEVER get high heat nor heavy cycle . They dry quickly on the low, within minutes honestly. Not sure if I'm one of the lucky ones but I read other posts on PROPER care. I also have 3 boxers that scratch and burrow in the sheets and thankfully no rips in the sheets . Past good quality brands get a tear within a month of my dogs. I of course discourage them but anyone who has a cozy bed and dogs knows this cant always be caught in time. I'll be buying the matching duvet cover soon too. I couldn't be happier with these sheets. And yes, as a woman I'm FINALLY temperate controlled at night!!! I hope my review helped. Sorry I cap'd so much but people dont read the important info then are mad they wasted their $$!
