Used in basement. 2 rooms away. Used on a bell expreasvu 9200 receiver. Placed the one receiver end in a cabinet and the other by the receiver. The remote pick it up no problem through glass. There is no delay when pressing the remote button. It's like it's a UHF remote. Would buy again without question.

I recently changed cable providers to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner), and Spectrum gave me the Cisco 9865 DVR cable box. Since I keep all of my media equipment in an A/V room ~75 feet away, I required a solution that would be able to change channels on the box remotely. After days of researching, and a few failed attempts at using other wireless and wired IR Blaster solutions, I came across the SIIG. I'm blown away by how well these little guys work. First, they work perfectly when other products didn't. Second, there is no delay at all from when you press the remote and get a response. Third, SIIG was extremely easy to install. Fourth, at $45 buck this was much less expensive than other failed products. I HIGHLY recommend the SIIG.

I needed an IR signal extender to boost the IR signal from the remote. The soundbar was too far away for the remote's IR signal to reach. I tried using the BAFX IR extender but it didn't do the job. This SIIG IR extender worked perfectly. Signal transmission is instantaneous; there is no lag at all. Installation is simple and clean with a minimim of wires (compared to the BAFX). Highly recommend.

I put one of these behind my TV and one in the closet about 10-feet away, where the amp/receiver lives. This barely picks it up, I have to lean forward and aim pointedly for it to work. But it works.

Using in my RV. My a/c has a IR remote that can be finicky when trying to aim. I placed the receiver unit in upper bed bunk and transmitter about 3 feet from a/c. Works perfect. The blue LED's are a nice touch, lets you know when a signal is received/transmitted. I just used some double sided tape to mount. Took all of 2 mins to install. The power cords can plug into any USB-A port or the included 120v adapters.
