I’m 5’0†and I was able to adjust perfectly for best comfortability. The mesh cushions on the back area
Miriamorous✓ Verified Purchase•April 22, 2018
I bought this pack for a 4-day backpacking trip to Havasupai.
I'm 5'0" and I was able to adjust perfectly for best comfortability. The mesh cushions on the back area, shoulder straps and waist belt were comfortable and made the 27lbs feel light on my back.
I was able to fit 4-days worth of clothing, dry food and 3.5L of water, downbag, sleeping pad, water shoes, emergency kit, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste, snacks, portable charger, trekking poles, tent sticks, portable stove, flashlight and 32 oz. water bottle. Also comes with a neon yellow waterproof cover attached to the bottom of the pack where I also stuffed my rain poncho.
Carabiners and bungees definitely came in handy.
I only wasn't able to fit my entire backpacking tent, which my friend was able to fit in pack.
Overall, this pack held up very well and surprisingly comfortable. For the quality and price, I definitely recommend this product.

So let me start by saying that I am not a frequent camper, but I am a seasoned hiker.
I took this bag to the Big Island of Hawaii for two weeks. And our method of travel was quite strenuous. Daily hikes, bus rides, LONG walks from place to place, instances where I've had to sleep on it, and not but least our 2 day 20+ mile trek.
What I have fit inside:
1) 5 each of shirts, shorts, socks, under garments.
2) Waterproof mini crate for valuables.
3) 2 iphones, ear phones, chargers.
4) 3 days worth of canned food.
5) Vitamins
6) Go pro with accessories
7) notepad
8) Camping light, flash light, headlamp
9) Camera tripod
10) 40oz hydro flash
11) DJI Osmo Mobile
It was almost overpacked and tight, but it fit nonetheless lol.
Only drawback would probably be the my sore traps/shoulders after carrying it for an extended amount of time, but again, it was quite overpacked. I'm not sure if that's a design issue or the an over packing issue. I haven't tried any other backpacking bags, so I can't say.
Another plus I like from this bag is its size, it being a 40 liter bag, it allows us to use it as a carry on and bypass the check in fees. Also it prevents you from over packing, say if you were to have a 65 or so liter bag. It's just more stuff you'll be tempted to pack.
If you're looking for a reasonably priced bag that will prevent you from overpacking, this is for you!

I bought this backpack for a backpacking trip to Zion and it was just what I needed! It fit everything i wanted and it was comfortable for me I'm a 5'8 125lbs man and it was very good fit, it unfortunately didn't pack my big sleeping bag because it was to bulky (won't be using this backpack for my Alaskan trip) it provides a rain cover which came in handy when I walked through a waterfall and my bag wasn't soaked!! I also use it for my photography gear which fits everything i want and still has space in it!!!
Perfect as carry-on for 2 weeks in Europe
dershwin✓ Verified Purchase•May 15, 2017
I just returned from 2 weeks in Europe with this backpack! I'm 5'2" and exceptionally weak, and I was able to run the length of LGW to catch a connecting flight with this baby strapped to my back. It slid easily under the seat in front of me (stuck out a bit, but no flight attendants seemed to care) as well as in the overhead bin. Airlines flown - British Airways, Vueling, Lufthansa, Condor. Also, the top front pocket was perfect for easy access to liquids bag and headphones. I was very careless with the main compartment zipper and it got caught a few times but was easily freed, never stuck-- really appreciated that. Zippers seem to be high quality to endure all the tugging.
Below is what I packed in case you're interested. I had room leftover for small souvenirs and other purchases.

toiletries
makeup
[In a 11.8 x 7.9 x 4.7 inch packing cube]
phone charger
sunglasses
glasses
some other miscellaneous things (tissue packs, etc.)

Traveled to Europe on United, flew in Europe on Flybe airline, took a number of trains & rails including the Eurostar and this bag worked as carryon no problem. Rolling up clothes and packing light, 3 of us each had one, and they worked perfectly!! In truth, we had more room left! (Which allowed us to pack purchases in them on the return flight home). It features a little zip pocket on top that is perfect for the Quart sized liquid bag needed for air travel- you can take it out for inspection very easily.
I bought 3 bags for to try (Cabin Max Metz Backpack, the eBags TLS Mother Lode Weekender, and this one). Without question this one the cheapest- was the best one!! Comfortable to walk around, to stand, and easy on/off. This bag was terrific. We were 3 different folks- 180lbs man, 120lbs woman; 130lbs 14-year-old and we each used and LOVED this bag.
It's also lighter than the others. Buy it!
