I carry sidearms in my work on a regular basis. I go through a lot of holsters and I don't cut corners. One of the guns I carry most often is a full sized Colt Government Model - and a Colt M11991A1. First, Triple K makes the absolute best holsters. I have tried most of the other popular brands but Triple K uses the best leather, has the best stitching and the best construction. Triple K Holsters are tight when new - as are most high quality, well fitting holsters. You have to break them in - but you end up with a holster that fits perfectly. The Flap Holster is a great selection if you need to protect your Colt from weather and abrasion. As a geologist, I am often scooting around on rock and wading through the brush. Its common for the brush to be wet with dew or rain. The flap holster is great protection. It also covers the weapon enough that its less alarming for people to see you carrying it. Highly recommended. Great price too.
