Pleasantly surprised.

My original purpose for this was to allow me to utilize headphones and be able to unplug the speaker on a 22 Watt Bugera tube amp for night practice when everyone in the house is asleep. It works perfect for that and also really helps me improve the tone of the amp when using the speaker at low volume. Far exceeded my expectations.

More tone, less volume

I just got this for my 5W all-tube amp and it works great. I turned up the volume on the amp (there's no gain knob), set soak to about half and line to 2 (not really loud) and I still got that over-driven sound that tubes do so well. If you have an amp and want that overdrive sound without blowing your neighbors away I highly recommend it.
They work great!!

Bought 2 of these... one for my jcm2000 dsl100 and one for my dsl40c. They work great!!! Would recommend and definitely would buy again. The downside is they do kill your power tubes faster (all attenuators do this)
Which wouldn't be so bad, but MAX is NOT 50%

You don't find out until you get it home and read the manual, but the soak goes from zero to 50% MAX! Which wouldn't be so bad, but MAX is NOT 50%, it's WAY less. Very disappointed, returned it.
