Simple and easy to install. Could be brighter...
Christopher Anderson✓ Verified Purchase•March 16, 2018
So far so good, after one day. Wasn't hard to install in and of itself. I have it sandwiched between a Teraflex HD tire carrier and a Yakima bike rack mount plate. It is centered well. Wiring was as easy as cutting the wires from my old third brake light and using crimp connectors to hook up the new one. The LED's, though plentiful and all function, are not as bright as my LED main lights (smoke plastic cover over them?), but there is a coolness factor and it is definitely noticeable. The TBL relocation bracket that came with the Teraflex would have been neatly hidden by the Yakima bike rack, so this is a worthy alternative.
Super easy install!

I just took a hack saw (couldn't things the sawzall blades) to the factory brake light stand, took about 5 minutes to pop off, maybe another 10 minutes to solder and heat shrink the wires. It's visible at noon, at night looks kick a$$ with my polished wheels!
Not stainless steel

I took off three stars because I hate false advertising. This item is 100% plastic. Now it looks and works great but there is no steel in this at all. Will update on longevity after I've owned it a while.
Seller made it right

Seller made it right, I ordered this third brake light. Received it in a timely manner, before installing on my I tested it hooked to a extra car battery I have only 1/4 of the light lit up, emailed seller of what it was doing, sent pictures to show, they shipped out a new out to me, had it within six days, new one lit all the way up, installed on the Jeep love the upgrade,
I could've knock a star off for the first one not working, but see they made it right by sending a new, it's not plug and play, you have to wire it up, get plugs or hardwire it in, not hard just two wires, I can say if you hardwire as I did use shrink tubing over your crimps to keep out the water/ mud us Jeeps get into
