I bought this to hold my audio equipment to my tripod, which it does well. The small ball head is poor quality and can not hold much weight but for my use it fits the bill. Do not attach a camera to this as it will not hold it reliably. I would hesitate to even put a GoPro on this head. The clamp itself is well made, with some time and effort the ballhead could probably be replaced with a better head.

Strong metal clamp with a sturdy metal single ball 1/4 20 thread camera adapter that locks securely. I bought one from another seller with the same clamp but a double ball adapter and that one won't lock my camera in place. This one is solid.
