Low cost works as advertized

This is one of the lowest cost awnings out there. It is totally worth it to preserve my windows and the frames that contain them. They are extremely easy to install and look great.
Good product, really happy with my purchase

That was actually enjoyable to assemble, the last section is a little bit harder to fit in the bracket as the position is awkward, you have to bend the polycarbonate as you go, it will get in there, be patient and relax. Screw the bracket/rails as you go.
If you know how to use a table saw, you can adjust the length by cutting the central panel, the top and bottom rail to the same dimension, and reproduce the notch on the top rail, I used a simple 60 tooth/inch fine cut wood saw blade (to cut the polycarbonate panel, you have to keep the blade low, flush with he surface or it might shatter a bit). If you are not sure, don't do it.
I installed it on Stucco wall with lag screws + washers, firmly secured into the plywood sub-layer of the stucco. The instructions are okay, but it would be nice to specify the drill bit diameter, not sure if it's 10mm or 3/8", and suggest other anchoring system for different types of walls.
Very pleased with the quality

I had read lots of reviews about these awnings. I chose this one because the material was polycarbonate and clear. It is far more durable then pvc or plexiglass. The material is bade like a plastic sort of cardboard and is somewhat flexable. People talked about it being dificult to assemble but honestly it was not I did all but the hanging of the 2 sections by myself.
The first and most dificult part of the assembly is getting the first pannel bent and in place. I attached the metal rail to the top of the first section. Lined up the pannel and slipped the pannel in the first metal edge. I unstained one of the self threading screws into the plastic arch then slipped the pannel in. I used lots of painters tape to securely hold the pieces together. Then I bent the pannel to shape and installed tge bottom rod. Screwed it in place and taped the assembly together. Basically followed that pattern through the rest of the instalation. Since I had a 2 piece awning it came with 3 arch supports. I assembled one with 2 arches and one with only one. Worked like a champ. Then I installed 2 2x4's on the side of my house making sure I got screws through the siding, insulation board and into the studs. I had my son help me hold the sections in place while I screwed the arches in place. Worked very well. It's very solid and has already protected the garage door from several strong storms with high winds. Looks great and works perfectly.
A little paint and I'll be all done
Looks great and seems quite sturdy after install.

The awning is a little tricky to assemble. Follow the instructions carefully and be sure to have some help mounting the 120" width awnings. The awning seems to be sturdy enough after it is attached to the wall. It provides an additional 3-4 hours of late morning shade for our patio door/windows. Just what we needed here in the desert Southwest. It has been installed for about a month now and all seems well.
You'll need 1cm pilot holes for provided anchors

Instructions are clear and easy to follow, awning itself gives me no reason to complain and looks nice. Was easy enough to install and assemble. Only thing is the instructions do not say what size pilot hole you need for the included hardware (1cm drill bit will do the trick). 3/8 in was ever so slightly too small to mount them into my wood wall and mounting board, but 1cm did the job perfectly!
