It was very hard to assemble.
Some of the wood was split.
Instructions were super weird and difficult to understand. So that was a pain in the butt
Its quite spacious and holds a lot. Generous amount of space so thats good but its just hard to put together.
It is heavy
Sturdy.

I don't mean to compare this product to woodwork in my garage, but this was significantly harder to assemble than any other piece of furniture I ever bought. This is mostly at the fault of the instruction-booklet designer for the following reasons:
1. The illustrations do not indicate the orientation of the items, so it was often a coin-flip as to whether or not I was installing correctly. Most booklets will zoom in or use a different style of indicator to help the user put together the product. This booklet had no such thing and was also short on words.
2. Some item parts shared part numbers. Fortunately, the parts were different enough to use common sense to distinguish them, but objectively it is strange to say "use No. 7 to fasten No. 7."
3. After one hour of following the instructions, the booklet had the audacity to tell me it was now time to begin step number 1. Whose idea was it to start this instruction booklet at the prequel?

Anyway, the piece looks nice and it's robust for the cost. It scratches really easily, but that's a problem for a different day. I bought two of these and it's now time to build the other, so I'm going to take a nice long cry and then get to work.

I am writing this review while the frustration is still fresh. The first one took around 2.5 hours to complete. I am hoping the second will only be one hour.

Overall is a pretty good and sturdy storage cabinet. The packing could use some improvements. No missing pieces or hardware in my case (some people report this on other reviews). Minor damage to one panel but it is on the inside luckily...not too big of a deal to warrant contacting customer service. A few other minor damage points but again for me not enough to make a big fuss about it. Some people report bigger damage...I decided to take a chance keeping that in consideration...it worked well for me.

The instructions are pretty clear and easy enough to follow. The exception being panels, E, F and I, I believe...The instructions can improve on clarifying the direction of the panels upon assembly, however this can easily be handled by standing the unit before putting the securing screws and double checking the direction of panels with the unit standing. It took me about an hour to put it together, it can easily be assembled in about 30 min but I took my sweet time to make sure all fit together and with small breaks in between.

I give 4 stars only because of the minor issues I encountered (minor damage and panel instructions mentioned). It could have easily been a 5 star rating otherwise. Value for the money 5 stars for sure.
