Nice buts smells

Material is very soft and nice but it took a week to air out the smell of it. My dogs can still smell it so they are not using the bed which is sad bc they love laying on dog beds. If the smell wasn't so bad, this would be 5 starts.

Not happy. The fibers of the base cushion are coming off after two days. A bald spot is now present and I have beige clumps of them in my foyer. I can't imagine what it will look like in a month.

The bed is exactly as pictured. It is extremely well made, and it's very nice looking. My dog has loved all his beds, but this one clearly supports him better. The bottom memory foam is great for support, and the surround is in between soft and firm, enough to support his head but be cozy too. The cover is high quality in my opinion, much better than any I've had before. I just got it so I can't say how it will wash, but it seems like it will be good. When I viewed the online picture, I couldn't see what the laying surface was and the bed was offered from some other merchants with a rattan liner. I wouldn't have my dog lay on rattan..it isn't soft and he'd likely try to bite it out of there, but I thought there must be a reason for it. But now that I have the bed, I can see no reason. The surface is cloth, and soft like a chenille robe kind of. My dog doesn't care for the bone toy, but I see that other's dogs do like it. For the money I've spent on less well made beds over the years, I feel this one is a bargain. I can't imagine it will have to be replaced as quickly as the cheaper ones do.

Dog loves comfort of this bed but the smell (off gassing) of whatever chemical was used to make it is awful. It kept me up at night and caused me to wake up with a headache for the two nights I had it in my bedroom. I had to move it out and dog has to sleep in his old bed now ( or away from me). Hopefully the smell will eventually dissipate but...

I purchased this bed for a local animal rescue for a senior dog with hip problems, she loved it!!! In fact the foster dad we sent it to calls it the Cadillac of all dog beds and tells everyone with a dog how amazing it is. I have since ordered a few more for the other dogs in need from the same rescue and will continue to keep buying and donating these beds. Great dog bed!!!
