I was skeptical that this would work, given we had nearly daily dove strikes at our patio door. I stand corrected! I affixed one of the two decals to the center of the patio door and we haven't had a single bird strike since that day. I'm not sure how the birds are perceiving this single round decal (one of two), but the results speak for themselves. Very happy not to have these poor doves crashing into the door.

Well, the glue that is used on the backside of these decals is not exactly clear, and sort of milky. That's why I ran it under the sink with hot water and soap, careful not to crease them and I got rid of it. I applied them just using a little water and nothing else. They may not be permanent but I like this look a whole lot better because it's up against clear glass.

I guess they would have been OK if I got them for decorative purposes, but I got them to stick to the glass on my door in an attempt to get the birds to stop fluttering against the glass and possibly hurting themselves. They didn't help at all, and, in fact, seemed to make the problem worse. I would not recommend this product, at least not the mermaid, to deter birds.

Really high quality. I put this at dog-eye level on the sliding glass door so that my dog knows when the door is closed. There was an incident prior to this that is best forgotten; now we put things on the door so it is clear the door is CLOSED. This image is like a little piece of art on the window. Very nice.

I bought this to keep birds from crashing into my patio door. This didn't work for that. I have purchased different decals and placed these in the front window. They are pretty but can't really be seen from the outside.
