I bought these and tried it out. Its got a bit of looseness in the pieces that fit around the wood but it does work and it appears very strong. For a one man band its alot easier then trying to walk through a door with a peice of plywood telling yourself i got it i got it! And then without it you have to set it back down and get another grip. If you get this product its durable enough to get a good grip. It all depends on the strength in your wrist actually. This handle looks like it can take alot of weight.

At first I was concerned that the area that grips the drywall/plywood, may make the material tear or crack. I've lifted both materials, double and single and they have not torn or cracked.

I was pretty skeptical at first, but WOW this really works. Its actually a lot heavier duty than I originally thought.

Excellent one hand carry tool

For hand carry of drywall, we much prefer this over any bottom carry tool, as this one allows a true one arm carry. Squat under it, stand up, and you are moving. Surprisingly easy. Having a free hand while carrying helps immensely. Just watch for cross-winds if outside. It appears very well made.
The only caveat for drywall is to make sure the tool surfaces are flat against the sheet before lifting. If the back plate is tilted, it will bite off the drywall.
Other than that, this is an excellent hand tool.
