The installation was easier than expected! Did my counters with the dark marble... first time DIYer and it turned out wonderful!!
Side note.... WAY EASIER application using water! For some reason I forgot to use water when I was using the left over pieces to cover the shelf over sink....still looks great! I had to reposition part of the paper and it suck to the paint n ripped it up, but CAN'T SEE IT ANYWAY!!

Great product, requires a bit of skill and patience. No complaints.

The quality of the product is pretty good. And it's sticks quite well.
Unless you're a professional at doing this , it's not easy to install. If you try to put a single continuous piece on a long countertop, it's a 3 person job.
The shorter the pieces you cut and stick, the easier it would be.
People have a habit of complaining , I would ignore the negative reviews.

I was sooo impressed with this. It makes a total transformation. Had some issues with air bubbles, but we're getting there.
Great temporary fix!

Purchased this to cover the 1960's Formica countertops in a rental unit. I figured if it got ruined it was a small investment and easily replaced between leases! I was not disappointed! It's not the easiest thing in the world to install... takes some patience and no matter what you read - USE WATER WITH A LITTLE DISH SOAP when applying. We installed the first countertop with just water and it was not as easy as the second countertop with a little dish soap added. Take your time and once dry use a hair dryer to heat up the edges a little bit - helps exponentially with making sure those weird angles stay in place.
Now, this does not look like actual granite or soapstone in my opinion... it's got a bit of shine to it and you can tell up close that it's not the real thing. But it's still pretty in its own way and was absolutely an improvement over the Formica we had before. We had to do some plumbing repairs after this was installed and we ended up with two decent gouge marks from tools or whatnot. I was able to heat those areas up with a hair dryer and try to smooth them out a bit, but they're still noticeable and I expect to see those nicks get worse with ware.
Overall, it's not the most durable or realistic looking thing... but it's a TON cheaper than installing new countertops and I am not dissapointed!

Excellent for a Drop-in Sink; Not-so-Much on an Undermount

The media could not be loaded. I used this on tile and you can see that it's tile under the sheet. However, that was not really that big of a deal for me. The issue was that I have an undermount sink and you can see in my video and the pictures that I had to cover over the corners with a second layer. This is because in order for the sheet to stick to the corner, you have to cut slits in it. This means the counter shows through. Adding the second layer hid the counter but doesn't really look the greatest. Also, I had difficulty getting it to lay down right where the tile dips into the sink area. Check out the video and the pictures for a visual. While this product didn't work for me because of my undermount sink, I would still highly recommend the product to those who have a drop-in sink. The company was easy to work with; she provided a label so I could return the unused portion and she immediately refunded my money. The warranty made me feel safe in order and trying this. I will be peeling this up (also made trying it an easy decision) and painting my tile counters.
