Wow. Didn't believe it, but these WORK. We've dishwashed my kid's lunch stuff about 10 times now, and the labels show no signs of peeling or smudging. The "self-lamination" is basically a clear bit of transparent tape with its own backing that is pre-positioned over the main label. You write on the main label, peel the backing off the lamination, and stick it down. It's very forgiving, and you're not likely to get any bubbles or warping apply the lamination. Then, you peel up the now-laminated label and stick it wherever. We use them on all my kid's preschool items (besides clothing). Very happy with these!
AWESOME labels for daycare bottles

Great for bottles and bowl lids (flat). But they didn't work well for his sippy cups or bowl (bottom). If they were slightly shorter, then may be better for the curve. But the ones on his bottles are great. We're 8 months into using them and they are great. Out of 12 bottles (washed everyday), only one came off.
When writing names, use ball point. The ones I wrote with Sharpie, became blurry after few months.

A must have for moms with small children!

I bought these to use on sippy cups for mom's day out and I'm ordering my second set today! These labels are easy to apply and last through multiple washings in the dishwasher and can't be peeled off by my children! They don't last "forever" but long enough for the price and convenience. I put them on other items too and so far the only thing they haven't stuck to was the inner tag on my son's coat. Other than that they work great for toys, lunch bags/containers etc. I keep a sheet in my car for last minute labeling and love how quick and easy it is!
Great For Lunchboxes and Water Bottles!

These are really great. I had labels for my kids when they went to day care that were cute and had animals on them, but as time has passed they've fallen off or have been removed. My oldest started Kindergarten this year and I knew I needed to label his lunchbox and his water bottles, but didn't want labels with anything to "baby" on them. These standard color labels are great. Hold up perfect in the dishwasher and don't bleed!
but they still just have this look like you stuck scotch tape on the bottles

Maybe it's just me. These seem to be decent quality for what you get, but they still just have this look like you stuck scotch tape on the bottles, it just doesn't look neat and clean. Maybe if you had really nice handwriting, but I peeled them off because I thought they made all the babies stuff look cheap and dirty.
