I had just lost my last one, which I bought for twice as much. It is a very warm, well made hat, sold at the best stores in NYC and San Francisco. I have a large head and this fits me perfectly, so I bought two just in case I needed another one for the coldest winter on record in the midwest.. I highly recommend Parkhurst hats -- made in Canada. This is a classic style, but their other styles are great too and all with excellent wool and stylish designs.

Beret arrived before expected date and proved to be what I was hoping for....Color chosen was true black, has the perfect weight for warmth, the wool/felt was so soft it compelled me to immediately try for fit....this beret fit as though I had been wearing it all along ...but in a good way! The wool is NOT itchy. I had lost my orignal beret of 30 years and could not find the right wool and fit. I have a large head [no pun], and the 11" diameter was perfect, there was no stretching necessary. Good price point, hope it stays with me for another 30 years, but if not, I know Parkhurst has what I need.

This is my second beret bought from this seller. Having a large head -- 24 1/2 inch diameter -- I had despaired in finding any beret that didn't make my head look like a torpedo. These are easily large enough, woven of soft wool, and MADE IN CANADA as opposed to another country whose name starts with a 'C.' I'm very happy with my purchase and hope to get another one... or two... the minute they make one in Kelly Green. Had one years ago that was stolen. My favorite color. How about it, gang?
