I broke a bumper from throwing so many grenades...was going to toss it but decided to buy this to try to repair it. Figured it would be a cool learning experience and it was.

This product isn't perfect but it works. NO INSTRUCTIONS. You will have to watch some YouTube vids and even then it's a little nerve wracking the first time, but if you take your time you can do it. Did have to trim the sync button a tiny bit. For me the largest PITA was getting the bumper part and the part that goes over the xbox button. Man I wanted to force that damn thing on but was scared to break something. Worked and worked it and finally after like 10 minutes was able to get to snap in.

Don't forget to verify which version of controller you have. Would totally buy these again and am planning on doing it to a working controller just cuz it looks so bad ass.

Buying this product gets you parts made in a factory with thousands of other parts, most likely injection molded or something like that. There is no particular care to getting rid of excess plastic that would interfere with installation. A little doctoring is needed to ensure your parts will fit how you need them and generally a sharp knife will work just fine.

This time however, one of the parts came severely discolored and I could not use it. Fortunately, I wasn't planning on using that part. I contacted WPS and they were very kind to refund some of what I paid for it. Costumer service was great and I would recommend if you do have an issue to contact them.

I was skeptical of these buttons because of the mixed reviews, but decided to give them a go, and I'm glad I did. The metallic purple looks great, and I didn't see any color variation on mine like some reviewers have reported. Fitment was very good, except for a couple little nubs from the molds that I simply removed with an Xacto. One minor gripe: they didn't include the profile switch.

The included tools were just fine. I was a little disappointed that the thumb stick covers didn't match the rest of the color scheme, but I think that the listing is accurate about this fact. I opted to just keep the stock sticks and think it still looks great.

Ultimately, however, these are painted rather than being made of purple plastic. I only found one little part on the inside of the bumpers that was not painted that no one would ever see. And after a couple months of fairly heavy use, my A button has significant wear. The purple has partially rubbed off. Given that these helped revived a 5-year-old controller with broken shoulder buttons and made it look awesome, I'm still happy with the upgrade.

I never leave reviews on websites, but I decided to leave one here for anyone who's skeptical on third party buttons for their controllers. I fix and customize controllers as a hobby, and I've used third party button sets on a few of them, one of them being my personal elite controller. My honest opinion is most parts of the set are good, but your gamble is if they come in the right color or not, and if the parts fit correctly. I had to do some light sanding inside the pieces to get them to fit in the controller, and the buttons I got didn't match the exact color advertised, but they still looked nice and I made them work. I dont used the ABXY Buttons that come with the set cuz 9/10 times for me they fit loosely in the shell so they aren't worth the use.

Tl:DR They're worth it if you're willing to put in the effort to fit them into your controllers

I used this to replace some broken buttons on my Xbox one controller and they fit great. They feel perfect in the controller. No changes in game play thankfully. Love the buttons.
